Injen CAE
I just put the injen cold air extension on, but with a K&N filter, not the original one injen gives u with the short ram pipe. Well, it is very tight in the fender well and I'm sure its probably rubbing on the inside of the bumper. I had to pull the ext pipe, where it connects to the adapter where the temp sensor goes into, down a little for the main pipe to fit on the fan shrowd so its not completely flush with the adaptor but the straight hose covers it so I guess its sealed. Has anyone had this problem? Should I put the original injen filter on, would that help? Or is there another filter that is better that would also fit better than the one I have now?
Thanks |

i had trouble getting mine on also. i just messed with it like you did until i got it to fit, just as long it is all sealed together you should be fine. but just be careful with the extension when it is wet, i sucked in some water the other night.

It seems to be locked in the corner pocket. It's back and to the outside. This was the only positon that fit. There are several drain holes around the filter to keep water at bay.
