Imagine blowing that engine... 3.5 liter six with 260+ hp stock.... So much potential... even making 100 hp/liter, which is fairly mild with forced induction, thats probably at least 300rwhp.... Goosbumps hehe
Plus its cheap cosidered what kinda platform you get... If I have the means in the next 5 years, I'm gonna pick one up.... |

I hate to disagree with you guys, but I think it looks kinda....ugly. It looks like a new Celica crossed with an Audi TT. I wish they somehow would have kept the styling of the late model 300ZX headlights, but the new ones look ugly and the lights look JUST like the new Celica. Personally I think they should bring over the newest model of Silvia, and scrap that new 300ZX. They need something to compete with the new Lancer's that are coming to America, and I think Silvia is proven its self in Japan already...and could be marketted here....instead of gambling on a new styled 300ZX.
But thats just my opinion. M

It's the traditional RWD.
And it does hint of an Auddi Celica, but I can see a lot of inheretant features of the old 240/260/280ZX's more so than the last 300ZX. Yeah...it's weird, but I tend to like weird stuff.:) |

I think it looks like a TT that got a kick in the behind, then got celica headlights, but i'm not sure if i like it or not.
And yes, unfortunately nissan doesn't market its sportscars in north america like it does in japan. Need i remind anyone of the "Skyline" scheduled to come out in the US. |

It's cool (would u rather have no NIssan sports car?) The car looks better in different pics. #### I like every Z so I have a biased opinion.

Also forgot to mention that it will be available as a convertable, so that might get rid of the Audi look everyone thinks it has. If you put the Z and Audi next to each other I don't think the roofline resembles it that much.

Guys, if you look around, all '02-'03 cars are styled this way. The old boxy-yet-rounded looks are out. I think this look might grow on me too. The freak that I am, I'd probably think of whether you can do a motor swap between the z32 and this thing <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>.

i dont think thats the final design either. I think the front end (ahead of the wheels) is too short to pass regulations. And is it just me or are a lot of new cars getting taller? What happened to the low wide car?

just wait til you see one on the road in your favorite color without the oversized wheels. i doubt nissan will equip them with 20's. people will be changing their mind real quick.

ok first of all it's the "350Z", not ZX, not 300. and yeah there are some styling changes coming to the production model and in the 3rd year production might have a twin turbo or SC set up. that's still 4 years off. and they look WAY better in person. but still not at nice as the z32. more info a <a href="http://www.350zforum.com
