fitting fender, bad hood fitment

ok heres the deal. i damaged a fender, had it replaced, when the body shop put it on there was a gap at the back of the fender, at the pillar, i never messed with it, but now that i put a cf hood on the fitment is more noticeably off, what is the easiest way to fix it?just unbolt the fender and just try to line it up straight? i have no experience unbolting body panels, so any tips would be appreciated. thanks

u may have to take the bolts out of the fender that are holding it on in the back and ream the holes out so they are egg shaped. this may allow you to close the gap a little bit. its common for shit like that to happen with aftermarket fender, even if it is oem style as long as it cam from a mold other then the factory they always need a little working to get them to fit right. thats lame that the body shop even gave it back to you like that. i'd take it back to them and tell them to fix it free of charge, me and my buddy spent 3 hours trying to align a replacement fender for his eclipse. i have a similar problem on my 240...i think it has 2 aftermarket fenders or something cuz the hood sits below them...its either that or an aftermarket hood. make sure to watch the gap between ur door and the fender while ur trying to make the adjustment...ur body lines will want to try and move out of alignment too. its tricky thats why it takes so long. hope i helped.
