Are those actual replacement pedals, or do they go on top of the stockers?

Here are my pedals. I havent installed them yet because I have to cut the stock clutch, brake, and gas pedals to make them able to mount on correctly. Some day I will get around to installing them.

They are Sparco Smart Pedals. Razo also came out with a new badass line of pedals. Check em out.

me too. Unless you're going to replace them, don't bother changing anything. Don't just get the ones that fit on top

I've never seen complete replacement pedals. They're all the kind that you bolt on top of the stock pedals. Can someone show me where to find them?
And I wouldn't think the bolt-over ones are dangerous if they're secured right...the SCCA lets you race with them.

replacement pedals have to be welded on. Usually can't just buy it in a store. Would have to go to a racing shop of some kind.

There's no danger of the bolt-overs falling off or anything like that. I just don't like the look. I'm not big on visual add-ons like wings, body kits, etc. Wheels are ok, but only if you get bigger ones. At least they serve a purpose that way.

Probably just me though. I don't think I've ever seen a show car without "fancier pedals".

I don't really care that much if they bolt on or actually replace the existing peddles. In a perfect world I would find some that let you adjust the length so I don't have to slouch to drive comfortable. My feet are too far away or my chest is too close to the steering wheel, I can't find a happy inbetween without slouching which works but hurts the back after a while. If anybody has any clue where to get peddles like this that are heal-toe downshift friendly PLEASE give me a link.

I'm not real big on visual effects or whatever...unless it's subtle and tasteful. I like the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) mentality. So I'll get whatever is the simplest/least expensive thing that works dependably...so why would I go through the trouble and expense of welding on new pedals when the bolt-overs work just fine? Simple...I wouldn't.;)

Pretty much all aftermarkets will bolt or clip on. Basically, aftermarket pedals are primarily for looks, unless you race (autocross, not drag). The wider aftermarkets make it easier to heel-toe downshift. I'll have to agree with Lance, though, Keep it simple, if it ain't needed, save yer monies ;P

I've seen the clip-ons and they do look a little flimsy. I'd feel alot more comfortable with bolt-ons.
