Jay is (PSI240sx) famous
Well Jay's old car is.. Congrats on making SCC. Thats not you driving it in the first picture is it? I got all confused when I kepts seeing Levan. and the pics make it look more of a teal than what I am used to seeing in your pics and vids.
If I had a scanner that didnt require me to rip up my magazine I'd scan it.

i predicted this several months ago, although for the wrong reasons... i thought his car would be the first KA/ silvia in a mag, but it doesnt even have a KA... i was mistaken

I actually like his car in black, I was never in favor of the BMW Green (or whatever it is), but its his car, and he seems to like those kind of colors.

I am now famous.... LOL Its been a lifelong thing with me wanting to have a car featured so I am stoked that it finally happened. The pic is not of me though, its of the new owner. He had taken delivery of the vehicle about a month prior. No one wants to see my big head anyways lol.
and the black is horrible in my opinion.... he originally told me that as soon as it was his he would paint it white and I was thinking about how fat it would be in white... then he changed it at the last minute. I told him he was crazy... he doesnt even have a garage to keep it in... can you say hot, scratched, swirled, and dirty every single day!?

Have you seen his other car or cars (don't know if he really owns that porsche). Its shitty for a beater though (too modified)

Jay (PSI240SX) bought the car, fixed it up to the condition that it's shown as in the magazine, drove it for a while, and then sold it. Jay contacted them to do the article, they just wrote it after the car had been sold, but before the new owner painted it black.

I built the car, I contacted SCC about doing a feature and they agreed however, since they are on the other coast, it took them quite awhile to get over this way for some photo's. They finally set a date to come and about a month later I worked out a deal to sell the car. I told the new owner that he couldn't change anything on the car and that he had to come back here to Fl on the day of the shoot, and he agreed. Luckily the damage he sustained to the car happened on the way home from the photo shoot. He hit a semi truck retread and destroyed the front bumper. So the way you see it, is exactly how I built it. After the photo shoot, and because of the damage, i guess he wanted to make the vehicle more his own by changing the color.

Hey...my old exhaust is famous!!!!
You see the mention of the "Apex N1" in the article..well, yeah, that came off my S13!!! Since it got famous, it's developed a coke habit and never returns my calls, but I guess that's what fame does to you! Hehehe... Actually, it was bought by a local guy who sold it to the previous owner of my S13, and then I bought the car and sold the exhaust to Jay... - Brian |
