Help Tunning Turbo!

My plan is to turbo a SOHC s13. I want to tune the setup myself however I dont know the first thing about turbo tunning. Is there somewhere with valuable information on turbo tunning, or someone who can guide me in this process. I really dont want to pay a shop to do it b/c if somthing went wrong down the road I wouldnt know how to fix it, and I dont want to be bringing it to a shop everytime a problem arises.
And please, dont bring your sarcastic BS in here. Im just looking for answers or guidance.

Alot more things are involved in tuning a car, not just the turbo. There's the aspects of the air/fuel mixture and ratio, internals, timing, the products to use, etc.. It would be difficult to tune it yourself, as you're new to this. Tuning isn't as easy as installing an intake (sometimes even that takes headwork!). I suggest you have a professional do it for you.

save up a little cash... go to a local bookstore, and pick up a copy of MAXIMUM BOOST by Corky Bell... then do some research on other forums as well... that should get you at least started...

Amazing... truly amazing...

On the other hand, I agree with s13silady.
Great book, my gf got it for me 2 BD's ago.
If your serious, buy the book. But you can still
be serious, and not buy the book. You would just
be more serious if you did, and learn alot
more then the people that did'nt. Or you
can be lazy and ask internet people on there
opinion, and take a 50/50 correct answer, on such a topic.

Research. and when your done researchin, reasearch some more.Sorry for for sounding mean, but I just want you to make it, because if you dont, you would of just wasted our time. Back to your question: as much as I know about turbochargers, I dont know how to answer your question, Im sorry.

Maximum boost is great for anyone who's thinking about turboing their car. For the actual ecu tuning aspect of the car you will need to have that professionally tuned, learn yourself, or go to efi school http://efi101.com/
