26mm z brakes with 25mm wheels. Spacer necessary?

I have z32 calipers on my 96 240x, I've been told they're 26mm (tell me if im wrong). Im getting rims that are 25mm. would the 1 mm make a difference ? or should I get some spacers ? Please let me know if you guys had this situation or experienced this.

You're overthinking way too much.

26mm is the width of the rotor.

Wheel clearance has to do with the disc sizing of your wheels not the offset.

Just test fit the wheels when they arrive and spin them with your finger to see if the spokes hit the brake caliper. I'm pretty sure you're fine bro.

Don't worry about the offset number or the brake rotor width.. What you're really trying to figure out is whether the wheels have enough brake clearance, based off the disk size of the wheels.

Forsure thank you so much bro. And if they were not to have brake clearance. I would just buy spacers correct ?

there is absolutely ZERO reason an 18x9 +25 wheel would NOT fit that brake setup.

if anything, it may not clear your coilover, but again, that depends entirely on your suspension setup, and that isn't something that we can really answer. you will have to do some work and put the wheel on the car, and use your eyeballs to look and see what clears and what doesn't. if it doesn't clear, yes, a spacer may be the solution.

If anything, the only issue with wheels you would have is if you have spares of 15" and lower due to the brake caliper being massive (I assume since 300zx came with 16" wheels). Otherwise, your wheels are fine.

If you want to learn a lot more about wheels and stuff, Google search the following:

z32 brakes conversion
Wheel disk types
Wheel offsets
