i did a little searchage searchage and couldn't exactly find what i was looking for. Does anyone know if the HICAS andthe normal powersteering pump share the same bracket for the SR20DET motor?

They dont share the same bracket. I have the hicas one if you need it.

well i have a HICAS PS pump on my SR20 in a non-HICAS 240sx and i'm about to buy a power steering pump without a bracket. Will the KA24 240 bracket work?

The ka pump might work if you get the right bracket. I ended up just buying a non-hicas sr pump.

No I made this mistake already. I had a hicas pump and bracket...my pump went bad so I ordered a new non hicas sr20det pump.

Turns out its not even close to matching up with my hicas bracket (didn't even consider this). I can't find the non hicas bracket anywhere, if someone has one laying around I'd love to take it off your hands.

the normal non HICAS PS pump will not work with the KA PS pump bracket?

I don't have a KA bracket lying around, so I can't tell you that answer. If you find out that it would work please PM me or post here, as that would make my life a lot easier.

(my guess would be that it does not work however)
