Honestly dont know why ud buy a used oil pump? Not when new o es are still out and affordable... why risk it

I agree, however, some people are.... cheap? All I?m saying is taking the screws and 3 bolts out to verify the condition, mainly scoring in the gears/housing may make it worthwhile to someone.

I judge the condition the pump for what the rest of the engine looks like.

All the parts I sell come off COMPLETELY stock low mileage NEOVVL engines that come straight from Japan.

I will not sell an oil pump or crank from any engine that has spun bearings or anything of that nature.

You literally have to destroy the screws on the pump cover in order to open the pump up, Nissan used a very hard thread locking compound on the oil pumps.

I just opened a 29yr old sr20det oem oil pump with an impact screwdriver...did no damge to the screws or pump.

He was just stating it help your for sale ad to show off internal condition of the pump but oh well...glws
