i purchased some teins on the forums and the guy didn't have the install hardware to set my height. i'm assuming it's called the wrench or it's similar to it...if any one has this available or know where i can get a new one from let me know. thanks.

Spanner wrenches is their proper name. Everyone calls them perch wrenches. Any Tein dealer should be able to get a set.
