Sometimes when I pull my ebrake, the brake on the rear passenger side gets stuck and the ebrake lever just drops down. Each time that it happens, I have to hammer/push this hook down on the ebrake mechanism but the thing is, it doesn't go all the way down. I would say it goes only about halfway down after comparing it with the driver side. I can feel that the brake is still on during acceleration as my car comes to a stop quickly in first gear without me having to brake. I tried to hammer the hook to get it all the way down but it messed up my wrench. Any ideas as to the cause of it getting stuck all the time?
