about to purchase an engine with 17k on the clock(96S14). It hasnt been run for around 2 years . i know regular seals and gaskets go bad with time so i will repla;ce pretty much eveyr seal and gaket there is ... but what baout valve seals? i could send out the head and get it redone for proably 2-300 but i rater not

PS engine is only 450 shipped so i am certain i will get it i am just trying to plan ahead see if there is anything else id need to do before installling it
