I want to lower my '90 for better handling but i live in Canada, where the snow is bountiful. Anyone have experience in snowy climates and lowered 240s? I guess I'd be going for a 2" drop.

BTW: I live in toronto but am moving to thunder bay!

Hey bro, sup...

I'm in Ottawa and the past 3 days have been hell for me. You probably know what I mean. Snow, melts to water, wake up in the morning, its ice! FUCK! It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to drive in Canada! You don't know how many accidents I almost got in..

My baby is lowered too, that doesnt make it any better trust me, so what you might want to do is put weights in the back, or anything heavy. It'll give u better tracktions.

Just becare on those turns, never take a break or accelerate on them, our babies werent made for this weather.

Good luck

man, you guys make driving in Ontario sound so bad
i'm in Calgary.... our weather is FREAKY weird. it'll b snowy one day, rainy another...
what my friends tell me about their 240s: don't drive it in the winter if you don't have to.
but if it's lowered, that'll b a hassle... why didn't you get adjustable coilovers?

I've been driving the 240 in our winters for 3 years now, it's not the ice i'm concerned about...it's that I want to lower it and am concerned about snow-plowing. Whick adjustables are you talking about? Most are worth more than my car!

well.. any adjustables really.
but like you said.. most are very expensive. Most people just go for the ground effects. they seem pretty decent.

Holy SHIT!

Talk about coinsidence!

You know how yesturda it snowed hard, then it melted and today it froze again? Well, I fuckins lid off of a road and onto a ban that was ATLEAST 5 foot tall. My car was up on it so high, that the front was ATLEAST 30 degrees to the back! It was HORRIBLE!

I broke the black rubber part under the front of my car, donno what to do with it. One of my headlight dont go up no more and my exauhst got bent. Nothing big, got it out easy with a few shovels and a few big guys.

Guys.. really, be careful, expecially this week, it's hell out there!

Peace

Feels good to live in Maryland, USA, where it snows for less than a week during the winter Good luck handling those snows

it's not the snow that is dangerous.. it's the ice that accompanies it

I just survived 3 days of 6 inches + of snow... I am glad that I have stock supension, but coil overs that I could jack all the way up would have been nice too... that is why I am getting coil overs for sure, just in case, and I will just put the stock suspension back on if I have too, I don't mind.

Yo Thich, im in calgary too,Where you at? im in Hawkwood, NW.
Its been REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLY Shitty the past week here...like, a High of minus 25 Celcuis.
Having a lowered car in the Snow doesn't help...espically if you have a body kit...it will just be a giant fahking snow plow...so if ur gonna get a body kit too, keep your stock front and rears, and put them on during Ye Ol Winter Months.
Basically, the best thing you can do is drive carefully, and very defencivly.
