Angry Help me diagnose my car :(

I'll give ya cliffs:

-Get in car. Feels like power steering is going out, when I turn it, it turns easy, then hard (like the PS going out).
-Open engine bay, notice that the belt slows way down almost to a halt when the wheel is turned and I hear the annoying screeching noise. (When wheel is turned almost all the way) Also the FAN slows down too since it's connected to the belts.
-Had all the service belts changed about 1 month ago.
-On way limping home, was going 60, then felt the car start slowing down as if I downshifted. Wouldn't go past 2500rpms or else it would choke. Coolant = GONE and temp. = WAY PAST H.
-Put some more coolant in, let engine cool, limped home, car ran fine (cept the PS issue).

Any ideas?

P.S. 1997 S14 KA24DE 109k miles

when you lost all the coolant, did u notice where the coolant leaked from? At 109k miles it could be the seal wearing out around the water pump. Have you checked your power steering level lately?

eh, my first fixes would be OEM water pump/ps belt. and if that doesn't fix it, then go get a new power steering pump, its an easy fix.

Anybody happen to have changed out a power steering pump on an SR before? How hard is it? I think I might have to tackle this issue with my car....

This probably isn't the problem but maybe a bolt on your steering column is rubbing on this line that comes out right before the downpipe. I had this problem and it felt like the powersteering was going in and out. I just banged the line away with a hammer. Might wanna check that out.
