![]() Does anyone know where I can get a JDM Kouki Bumper Bracket for an S14?
The reason I want the JDM one is it does not come with the bulky reinforcement bar like we have here in the US, as well as the large opening already available for Front Mount Intercoolers. Any help would be appreciated. |

Bumper bracket and bumper reinforcement are 2 very different parts. One holds the bumper, one is a crash bumper. JDM s14 have no bumper reinforcements. JDM and USDM bumper brackets are identical.

Yes, the bumper brackets are the same. The bumper supports (bumper reinforcements), however, are very different. I had the usdm one and its very big and bulky compared to my jdm one.

Maybe I should state that I currently do not have a bumper reinforcement or a bumper bracket and I am in the market for one. So I figured getting a used JDM one might cost just as much as buying a new one from the dealer, however it will come with the added bonus of not having to cut up the reinforcement bar for a front mount ic.
I have machine shop available so getting tools like a cut-off wheel are not a problem, I just like to do things as clean as possible, I used to build cars for a living. I do appreciate the feedback from everyone. Thanks Hao |

Ask around, you can find one for next to nothing and cutting it requires very little skill. A lot less effort than locating and shipping a JDM one.

I would be very interested to see a JDM s14 with a bumper reinforcement bar. As far as I know no such thing exists.
