SR Car cutting out at boost... Jinxed myself.... Help

Ok here is the deal.. The car was running fine up until today i ran to the store real quick was running good didnt really boost it though. I made a u-turn and headed back to the house I had to speed up to traffic speed so I gave it a little gas and I could hear the turbo spool up and then it just started gagging. I had this problem before and it was the plugs but i checked them they seem to be fine looked a little lean (white). So i assumed maybe injectors but all four plugs were lean which I assumed would be the case being im up 2lbs of boost and front mounted. However I checked the injectors the gangster screwdriver way and heard them clicking so that kinda rules them out but this is all at idle/vac not under load or boost. I checked the radiator for antifreeze discoloratiion none that i could see nor any bubbles. I havent checked compression yet but the car runs fine until load or boost I can cruise down the highway at 90mph but as soon as i roll the throttle i bog out and skip. As soon as my boost gauge zero's out the problem begins. I have really no idea im stumped i know it could be the maf. or vac leak but i checked all them and boost leaks. none evident. I know it couldnt be compression cause it runs fine unless someone can tell me other wise. Any ideas guys let me know and ill check them next...

I had a similar problem when i blew a charge pipe off, it looked all sealed and under vacuum it was fine, but as soon as i boosted it would puff the coupler up and it would loose presure and the ecu would go rich obviously and same problem,

Maybe check the couplers all again, I doubt it is your MAF cause it would be odd that just at that voltage it would go haywire.

Sounds like an air leak to me.

well i was hoping for an easy fix like a boost leak but it doesnt seem thats it. I checked every coupler and they all are tight and help pretty solid (as solid as a rubber coupler can be). Its such a weird symptom if i goose the throttle at idle while sitting it will stutter and then rev an blow off. If i roll the throttle it will run up till 5 6 7 rpms if i were willing to rev it past 5500 sitting still with not stutter sounds great and smooth obviously im under vac this way about .5bar and when i goose it i jump to almost zero and there is the problem. Could it be turbo failure? or if anyone knows a good way to check for boost leaks let me know. This just blows my mind the car was running great until i made one u-turn and i didnt even slide it what a waste. Help

I never really thougth about the fuel filter the car was really low on gas when i made the u-turn maybe i stirred up some debris and clogged her up. but wouldnt it bog all the time?

advice

I would flush your fuel lines, just because thats good to do no matter what, and it might be the problem (happened to me before) and also check your coil packs, make sure there all firing normally, having a coilpack firing slower then the rest on one cylinder can make the car choke and bog when under heavy throttle or boost but run fine when acclerarting slow or idle (this also happened to me and took 2 months to figure out). also check that ur injectors are firing properly on all 4 too. If all this doesnt fix it, then pop your turbo and check that the acuator and wastegate are functioning properly (hopefully not it, and last resort). Hope this helps.

Did you check the manifold? turbo itself? downpipe? wastegate? blow off valve?

Those can create leaks too, not just couplers.

I had this problem on my sr. I replaced the coil packs, maf, ignitor, fuel press. regulator, fuel filter, injectors, plugs, and checked for boost leaks. Ended up being fuel pump wire had chaffed from the tire hitting it.
