you're prolly lookin at a good 500lbs for a gutted front clip at least. the core support would be good to save to sell or for future Vmount experiementation....

yeah.... cut it up torch or sawzall how ever u spell it..... i tell u what tho since ur in the LA area theres plenty of small mexican autobody shops that recycle the metal... if u can talk to the shops theyll most likely point u to one of those guys who drive around in a old beat up pickup collecting metal....hope that helps.....

thought about dumping it.. but its too much work and risk.. driving around in the middle of the night with a front clip on the back of your truck and 5 guys in the back isnt very police friendly. hahaha ya kno?

All the clips we have tossed were in public dumpsers. It takes 2 minutes. cut it up in three peices. Down the middle of the fire-wall then the middle of the wheel well across. Its easy,discard at any plase with a dumpser at night. My friend and I have done this at least ten times. PS it wieghs 300lbs not 500, so 300/3=100 100/2=50. 50lbs, a ten year old girl can lift 50lbs.

Or, do what my friends and I did... took our halfcuts to the public dump... cost us about $20 to dispose of it.

IIRC according to the scale, they weighed a tad under 500lbs each.

My other friend chopped his up into little pieces and disposed parts of it every other day at the local Safeway...
