i was looking around and found a few threads but they didnt make enough sence to me,

the question is:

i got an autometer oil pressure gauge.

the fitting is slightly too small for the block.

so, it was said that in another thread that i need:

1/8 bspt to 1/8 npt adapter,
but! 1/8 npt is SMALLER than 1/8 bspt.

which freaking adapter do i need??

smb clear this out please!!!

1/8 is 1/8 the NPT or BSPT is just the thread. thats why you need an adapter.
BSTP is on the block NPT is the sender. makes sense??
BSTP male to NPT female adapter and your problem is solved.

yep, what he said. i picked up a ss fitting off mcmaster for lke 4 bucks.
