Finally got my HLSD all in and I was stoked to get it in the car... until I realized one of the axle flanges (passenger) doesn't fit into the HLSD. The splines seem to be too small or something, it just spins, albeit with noise and mild effort. The driver's side flange fits perfectly but the passenger side just slips and sounds like a bunch of gravel being ground together.

Any thoughts? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have them switched L-to-R, possibly?

Are they both the same diameter?

They're factory, and I think I have 'em in the right way. Their lengths are appropriate for the depth of the holes. How in hell does only one axle flange fit? It doesn't make sense. I'm gonna drink a gallon of Cactus Cooler and hope for some revelation through the haze of four pounds of sugar.

No revelation was made. I guess it's time to sell the diff, dammit.

Are J30 axle flanges a larger diameter than S13? Are S30/31? S14? Z32 NA?

I'd like to get this thing working considering I've had it since last October.
