Rollbar/cage install - s13 floors not flat?!
Anyone have some genius ideas to get around this?
![]() ![]() I dont think hammering it flat is good since it'll make the area between the bar and mounting plate weaker. So, Im just leaning towards using some washers. OR, maybe try putting some filler like epoxy or JB weld to make it flat so I can use the mounting plate under the car [instead of just washers]... sound good? Never worked with any of those before...

dang the flang on that is big. try moving it as close as you can to the edge and just hope that it will flatten evenly when you tighten it down.
heres my friends autopower bar that i helped install on his s13. the flang doesnt even get close to that hump... ![]() ![]() ![]() |
