Pics of 9" +17 on S14?
I'm debating if I should go with a 17x9 +17 all around or if I should go with a 17x8 +22 in the front instead of the 9" up front.
Anyone have pics of this on a car? Does the 17x9 +17 require any pull if running stock camber? I'm thinking the +17 all around is going to be the best bet. I'd really like to see how flush the rears are gunna be! |

MB Motorsports, cheap and good size (width and offset), you will find them on http://www.tires.com
I was trying to get those...but they were on backorder...so I grew impatient and got the FNs.

I can't tell how flush it is by the pics, any side profiles or something from directly in front/rear? Car looks good too!
Any rubbing on turning full-lock or hard cornering? Looks like a 215 on there? Thanks mang! |

one of my best friends has a 17x9 FN with +15 up front and a 245/45 azenis sport and it fits fine...nice and flush. I think a 17x8 with 22 up front would be weak on an s14. Ive got an s13 and run 17x8.5 with 25offset up front- 255/40 azenis

Agamemnon: Wow, the bronze MB Motorsports wheels look very nice on your S14! Although I already have a set of bronze Work Emotion CR Kai (F:17x8 +25, R:17x9 +28 with Advan Neova) on my black kouki S14, I was in search of cheap nice looking wheels like the MB Motorsports to be used in autocross, with Kumho V710 tires. For $127 each, that is not bad at all! Thank you for sharing the picture of your wheels with us. I have one question about your wheels... are they matte bronze, or semi gloss bronze? Thanks.
Here is a pic of my kouki S14 with bronze Work Emotion CR Kai wheels... ![]() Masashi |

Agamemnon, it seems that we posted almost at the same time, so I didn't get to read your post about the picture of the S14 not being your car, so sorry about asking you questions as if it was your car.
I don't know about the fronts, but with 17x9 +17, I think the fender may need to be pulled in the rear. I think you do, because I had to roll my fenders with my 17x9 +28 CR Kai, and it just barely clears it. If you were to look at my wheels from the rear of the car, it looks like it'll hit the fender during suspension compression (even after the fenders are rolled), but it doesn't. I guess the suspension moves enough of an arc that it just barely misses the rear fender. Masashi |

Does anybody know how many orders of 100 they received for the wheels? If they are close to the 100, I may order a set.
As for the rear fender clearance with my 17x9 +28 CR Kai's (fronts are 17x8 +25), I would also like to note that I'm running 255/40/17 Advan Neovas, with -1.2 camber, and it comes really close to the fenders even after rolling them. Here's more pics of my car... ![]() ![]() Masashi |

Thanks for the pic nrg. Any pics of the rear?
Are those 17x9 +17? What size tire is that? I'm planning to do a 225/45 on it. Anyone have pics of a 225/45/17 on a 17x9? |

it's 17x9 +15 front with 225/45
all my wheels stick out alittle from the fender, i like it that way. If you want fender flush, you would want like +25 all around; for 10 and 9 inch wide.

I don't currently have any new pics, but I'm running 18x9, +19 with a 225/40 and there's a finger of clearance with -1.5 camber, the +2mm difference on your wheels will hardly be noticeable. That's with rolled fenders only, no pull.

I noticed that you posted this link of your car. Are these the rims that you eventually went with? What kinda rims? Specs of both rim and tire? Any modification to the fenders?? What suspension are you running? http://www.geocities.com/masashi.geo/s14aljd2.jpg

These are 17x9+17 all around... At the time of pices they all had 245/40/17 on them.
And back when they were all nice and shiny... Now they are all black.. Maybe I should clean them. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fender wasn't bolted on all the way.. ![]() And before any alignments ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh and there's a pic request thread and wheel fitment thread... Search more diligently next time. |
