For anyone that's interested, the latest series that hotwheels put out has a skyline in it. I figured it would be a nice christmas tree ornament or somethin, hehe. I also grabbed an MR2, a 360 Modena and a Lancia. I think it was a stratos, I can't remember.

Supposedly there was a Datsun Z car in the series too, but I couldn't find it. Has there ever been a silvia or 180sx produced by hotwheels?

Even better yet... do a web search for Tomica BitCharG R/C cars. I went to the orient and saw these and had to have one. I bought a white Skyline R32 which is the size of a matchbox car but is remote controlled and has different motor choices (race or cruising) and different tire choices (race or cruise) even a front swaybar! The also had lancers and a few other models. These things kick ass =)

I couldn't find the damn Viper! Now all they need to do is make a RT/TT or a VR4 and Hot Wheels will have my respect. Skyline.......pfft

About those Hot Wheels Skylines, I handed them out for free at the KC 240 meet. I'm a nice guy who likes to share the love

I currently have a 1/10 scale HPI Sport 2 with Pro 2 upgrades with a S15 body and it is pretty quick. There was a guy selling a S13 Silvia body a couple days ago on Ebay. They also make a couple different S14 bodies but they are VERY hard to come by. I personally don't have too many places to run mine since it rides so low and there isn't an indoor track around me. They are just too bulky for me. I'm going to get rid of mine and get some smaller RC cars like Mini-Z's and Epoch indoor racers not to mention the Bit Char-G.

Here's a link to a commercial for the Bit Char-G. The link is somewhat broken but the movie should show up, it really kicks butt! I have 3 coming from Hong Kong. An AE86 drift set, a 2 speed GTR (for that turbo boost), and a JGTC XaNaVi Hiroto GTR special. Can't wait!

Those Tomica (Tomy) Bit Char-G's can be had in HK for around $15 IIRC. I got mine off Ebay, you can always find a slew of them there. I've tried various other places but Ebay seems to be the cheapest.

As for Silvia or 180SX Hot Wheels, I do not believe any were made. However, Tomica has small cars about the same scale as Hot Wheels but their doors open. They make various Skylines (including a police Skyline), 180SX, S13 Silvia, Sil80, AE86, FC, FD, 2000GT, WRX, EVO, etc...

The Tomica cost me $20 in the Philipines. They are acutally quite nimble since the microprocessor adapts input by how long you hold the buttons. If you hold the left turn button down the car will make smaller and smaller circles. Same with the throttle. The Digi-Q cars are even cooler but cost double what the BitCharG ones went for and since this is just for shits and giggles I bought the cheaper of the two. It's a kick to drive, buy one, you won't be dissappointed (and it's the closest you'll ever come to owning a real skyline )

I got the Upper Model Digi Q the other day. Its a Black Skyline GT-R R34. Its very sweet. A lot quicker than the Bitchar G (I played with these at a local import shop). It was damn near 80 shipped though.
