Which wire in the instrument cluster is the tach wire on a 91 240? Also, where is the best place to wire in light and power on aftermarket guages? thanks.

I think the best place to run the lights for guages is through your parking lights in the steering column. That way when you turn on your lights your guage lights will also come on. As for the tach wire on a 240 I am not sure.

OK, I've got a 1990 and 1995 FSM, and for both years the tachometer wire is yellow/red - at least at the ECU and main dash harness. Since both years are the same, I would assume that its consistent, BUT, that's just an assumption. Sorry, I don't have a 1991 FSM...
