drifting vert

i have a 93 vert w/ sr and im having problems with the E-brake, it doesn't seem to grab to allow the car to break sideways. Does anyone know why this is so? does it have to do with the fact that the car was previously an automatic?

When i first entered this thread, i had the thought in mind he was tryin to drift vertically, or something of the same moronic caliber. Attitude set in mind, i commented.

Depressing the clutch whilst ebraking allows freeplay with the gears, making it neutral, having no biased control (the gears) to hold you down, and slow you down. Kinda makes sense...

nothing to do w/ it being auto
ebrake lines could be stretched
the ebrake may not be locking on both wheels evenly
or most likely is the pads suck.

SR requiring an ebrake to 'drift' damn. I have a 5 speed KADE I can power oversteer all day. Unweight the front end by hitting the brakes, stay on the gas, let off the brakes and tap the clutch while still on the gas and hang on, around it'll come and control the slide with the throttle.

P.S. I think the word drift should be taken out of the english language. I cant even have fun with a FR car anymore because I look like a drift banwagoner.

I think the life should be taken out of every 240SX owner under the age of 23, but that won't solve the world's problems. Neither will your solution. Learn to live with it.

get underneith the car itself, and adjust the cables. maybe you've gotreally worn pads, torn cables, or unadjusted cable? Maybe you aren't clutching in...

See if the cable locks up both calipers, or jsut one.
