OE is 14mm. Stripped, rounded, and oxidized they're anyone's guess.

Vice grips solve a terrific number of problems. No tool box should be with out several different flavors of them.

Ya, they should be 14mm as per OEM specs. Maybe somebody stripped them or the suspension bottomed out and grinded something off.

Soak them overnight with PB Blaster. Use vice grips and take your time with them. Now is a good time to go to the dealer and get some new nuts for the cat.

Oh, and don't forget to wear goggles when working under there. Metal shavings under your eyelid is not fun.

Gatorgrip. Done. The issue with visegrips is that you lose alot of leverage (which is needed to break the siezed, rusted and heat-cycled bolts loose) and when you do slip off, you start taking TONS of material off the head. Get a $15 gatorgrip and you'll be alot happier.

Plasmacutter not everyone has, cutoff wheel is too loud for my taste. The bolt-outs work wonders too.. but they're expensive if you buy Craftsmans.

My neighbors hate my cut off wheel. They here the squeal and sparks going halfway down the driveway and they don't know what's happening.

I love pissing my neighbors off with loud tools, I forgot to unplug my compressor and it came on at 4am the other day
