I'm replacing my Deltagate with a Tial Wastegate because I hear that the Tial wastegates are better in quality than the Deltagates. I was using the Deltagate on my KA turbo, and every now and then when I look at my boost gauge, I would see it spike past the expected setting. So hopefully, the Tial unit would reduce this problem. Anyhow, I just wanted to see if anyone out there has done a similar swap or know of any actual experience with these two wastegates.

I'm not gonna be much help. I have the TiAl 35mm, but it's in a box waiting to go onto my car.
But, I am methodical about researching stuff that I buy, and TiAl is DEFINATLY the best. More than many people have complained about the boost creep that you are talking about, and claim that the spring or seating gasket thing in the deltagate is crap and wears out. It might acually be both.
But I can tell you, my TiAl, I don't expect anything bad to happen to it, and neither do dozens of KA-T owners.

Deltagates have a notorious reputation to malfunctioning. You ever wonder why it is the cheapest WG out there. Get the Tial or a HKS WG.

The Deltagate will sometime stick causing boost spikes which....make car go boom.
