Got my first speeding ticket today. I was going 70 in a 55. I have to pay $127.00 and go to court. God Damn cops these days, always ruining my day. Im just glad he didn't ask to pop my hood

Yes the ricer "honda's" do ruin my day but the cops in Hawaii are a bit different. They have normal cars and a tiny blue light on top that you can only see when your a short distance away. But it was my fault and i guess i deserved it. Im never speeding again! Yes the cop was probably after me to cause a couple of days before, driving to school he saw me spin the tires up this hill but he wasn't on duty so he couldn't do shit. Then he saw his oppurtunity and took it.

Not that bad

Just pay the fine.

My first ticket was criminal - I was doing 30+ over the limit. The fine was a little over four times yours and a misdemeanor, now there is a hard lesson

i agree... i got caught speeding (doing 99) about a month ago...
damn, it actually didnt feel like i was doing 99 (its was really early in the morning and i was half asleep so i didnt really noticed).. well.. my fine is 309..

Ah yes the only ticket I ever got was on the way through WIlmington...94 in a 55 right after that bridge headed to S.C. It was on my CBR I was a young Lance Coconut back then....Did the Prayer Fro Judgement and it worked...ticket went away, apid my ticket and that was it..of course if you get another one in I think six months, you get the old one back too.. That Prayer for Judgement is only in North and SOuth Carolina I think...

I have used Prayer for Judgement in Pa, SC, NC, & Va. It is not a Carolina only thing.

What is "Prayer for Judgement" ? I did a quick search and it looks like an option you can apply for...but what exactly is the content of that statement?

Ticket goes on a suspension pending your activity for the next 6 months to a year. If you have no further run-ins with Law Enforcement, your ticket dissappears All you pay is court fees. No points, no insurance hike, etc. However, if you prove you didn't learn your lesson and you get caught speeding or whatever within the given time period, the ticket comes back and you can't get out of it.

DAMNIT....I so would have been out of my two (and my only two) speeding tickets. I had no idea such a thing existed, and just seeing you've done it in VA is cool.

So if i go to court and say prayer for judgement they'll revoke the ticket and i'll be on like a probation thing for 6 months? If that is true im going to court. My date is december 15th.

I go to alot of street races and stuff and they always show up and break it up. Some friends and i are hanging out in the parking lot at Dennys in a big group and they show up and tells us if we dont leave there gonna write us all up for curfew and crap. There are many other reasons that are not vehicle involved but it was a while ago.

Did i say that i take my SR..NO so don't judge me right away. This was before i even had my 240. I kind of messed up on my writing but what i really meant to say was i used to go to street races but i actually haven't been in quite some time. Just let the whole cop thing die already cause you guys really dont know shit about what cops have done to me and my family and i'd rather not get into it with people that i dont even know. Just let this thread die already.
