I want to get new face gauges, but i notice that the 1990's and the 1991 240's have different tach and spedo gauges... i am wondering whats up?
I have a 1991 car, with a 1990 motor in it (=() and I am guessing the idiot that put that motor in there, also put in the 90'g guages, cuz i have a lower redline, and my speedo is in 15,25,35,45, so on... and the 91's the redline is higher, and the speedo is in 10,20,30,40,50.. so on.
Wha ti am wondering is, if i get the 1991 guage faces, will my speedo be off? or will it be on?
(I am planning on doing the sr swap anyways...)

Hmmm...it depends on if the previous owner re-calibrated the speedo.  The best way to be able to tell that is to take it to a shop to see if it's right (unless of course, you have an amazing shop in your garage).
