5 by 115mm wheels will they still work for 5 by 114.3?

so i got some wheels that are mesh from a pontiac grandprix, they are 16*8 +25 off set, i dont have tires on them yet but they fit on my hubs easily. i dont however know if they will center them selfs when i tighten the lug nuts. any one have a idea? on ebay 75% of the seller list wheels as being 115 and some say 114.3/115. i ve searched around all week and havent found any thing around. but i get the wheels for dirt cheap from a freind, i just need to know if they will work first, and its winter so my 240 doesnt move.

If they fit your hub, they'll fit, they just might not be centered.

well if you use them make sure the lugs are tight you may get vibration to

and make sure you re torque the lugs after you drive on them for 25 miles or so to make sure they saty tight

the offset is way wrong though.

No they wont seat right on the lug seats and you will end up ruining the wheels and it is very very unsafe.

they have cast into the spokes 16 * 8 25, they measure with a tape to be 8.75" outter lip to outter lip and when they were bolted on to the car with 3 2*4 under them the lip came to the edge of my rolled slightly pulled fender with 0 camber in the rear. the car is lowered like 1.5" might have positive camber right now but not more than 1 deg. but they are pretty sweet, they clear my z brakes in the rear and in the front with a 10 or 15mm spacer they will clear my z32/vr4 combo. these are the mesh that come on grand prix gt with the bigger fender flares, the ugly ones.

yah they bolt on, they seem to center on the hub, but eye balling it isnt good enough for me.

guess i m just gonna have to buy them and road test them

got some 215 -55- 16 tires to throw on for now

if they dont cause vibration, these are the sweetest cheap ass wheels.

have you tried it or just guessing? seeing as these are tight mesh i m suprised no one has tried it? i ve seen unsafe, thats the old dual pattern wheels that come with a weird oval slot to fit 5*4" 5*4.25 5*4.5 and use mag lug nuts.

Let me know if this works because pontiac 115mm mesh can be found dirt cheap.

we put them on all the time at the wheel shop i work at. it all just depends on the size of the hole that is cut out in the wheel for the lug nut. if you can still fit a socket in there, it will work.
