fmic install question

hi,
i ordered a ssautochrome intercooler kit from ebay (i dont want to hear people bitching about how ssautochrome is shit cause frankly i dont give a fuck) anyway...there are 3 pipes included with the kit, but i cant figure out how to get the hotpipe side that goes from 2.25-3 inches to reach the intercooler using my stock hotpipe. it seems a little short. has anyone had problems with this?

well if it doesnt fit exactly then have an aluminum piece cut and use gromets and hose clamps to match and seal..show a pic of what you mean exactlt also when posting a question like this...i may be able to help better if i can see what you mean...

If you were referring to me, I did have a reason: you seemed to have a bad attitude while at the same time asking for people's help.

If I somehow misread that, then my bad.

In any case, ssautochrome.com shows 4 pipes included in their SR20DET intercooler piping kit. So, my guess is that one of those would be a new hot pipe.

you might have to add a piece of pipe or somthing or re ebay it and get a hi pro one

wellps...no problem no hard feelings...i was just tired of hearing people say how shitty ssautochrome is....and i didnt want this thread to turn into an ssautochrome flaming thread so meh...yea the ebay one uses a different hotpipe than the one shown on their website, but ive seen pictures of it installed with the different pipe on, ill do a lil more research.

i was just wonderin if anyone had bought the kit and got it to work.

i got mine from ebay and it came with 4 pipes not 3....it was a SSA one as well....but the hot pipe is basically extended a lil longer on one side than that of the stock one. So if anything buy a pipe from pep boys in the exhaust section and an extra coupler and u should be in good shape.... good luck tho
