yellow headlight syndrome

Hey guys. Once again, I'm new to the 240 world.... What's the best way to get rid of the yellow shit inside of the headlight housing? I've heard put them in an over at 320* for 10min or so and basically get the sylicone gooy enough to pry them apart...... I didn't know if there were other ways or not.

on a s14?

usually the yellow is on the outside.

you can get away with wetsanding them with a fine grit sandpaper and then polishing it with some sort of polishing compound.

if your talking about the foglamps then use the search button, but if your talking about getting rid of the yellow on the headlamp lense then use toothpaste. And yes I'm being serious. Use just plain toothpaste with a little water and it usually gets the yellow right off.
