since the altima has a KA24DE also... is it possible to swap a altima engine into 240sx if i keep the tranny?

as you can probably tell i'm not very tech saavy.... but can the two motors bolt on to each other's chasis?

basically, no, the altima is setup with a transverse motor powering the front wheels

the 240's ka is longitudinally mounted, powereing the rear wheels

internals are common to both
i would imagine that the computer is too
but, i'm not sure...

basically the swap is a no go

thanks, this was VERY helpful... i asked this question in another forum and all people kept replying with SR20 this and sr20 that.... it got me annoyed.... thanks so much
