SR help car wont start, have spark and fuel. wants to run but then dies right after.

i just got done with my sr swap.

i fix the power problem and spark and fuel now it doesnt want to start. the longest i had it runnting was for 20 sec, i sprayed carb cleeaner in the tb, and i want to start but then it dies. so i added some gas cuz my gas take was low, and that when i started it for a while the i died. everytime i try to start it, it sounds like it wants to run but then it dies. i have spark, and fuel. my dad said it might be a bad fuel pump. also everytime i turn the cas timing thing, i hear my fuel pump go on off is it so post to do that. any1 have any ideas, lmk thanks

What does it mean for the ECU to "turn on"?

Check ECU relay/fuse and ground, like what was said above. Then check the thick engine harness that goes to the ECU for broken or improperly connections.

ok here is what you do,

Step one get wiring diag

step two find out where the ecu get power from and find the pinout for the ecu

step three get dmm and test that pin to see if it has power

now follow the steps for the ground of the ecu.
