KA Header problems?

alright let me start by saying i have searched through many threads reading about others problems with o2 sensors and mafs...i just help install some pace setter headers on a 89 240sx ka24e, the install went in flawlessly....we took it for a test drive and where noticing that when we put our foot down the car was hesitating and bogging...with a huge lost of performance...the next day we checked the codes and where getting a code 55 ( no problems ).... so we tried it again and same thing...

today we changed the o2 sensor thinking it could be that...which made it not hesitate and bog so much but we still have a huge lost of performance..i thought it could be the MAF but where not getting any code for it...

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

Well start off by making sure you dont have any leaks on any of your gaskets of your new header. Also make sure when you torqued down the bolts you went in the order the manual of your car.

Double check your spark plug wires. Firing order might be off.

If you installed headers on a KA-E, that would be your problem right there, you have something extra

but yea, check the wire to the o2 sensor, but it should still run.

check firing order

check for exhaust leaks.

other than that I dunno.

Dude, it's a header.

You messed with something besides the header, figure out what that is.
