still need help + picture

Okay thanks for all the help so far, but can you guys please keep it so the thread doesnt get locked. i still need help, and im sure the mods dont like me making new threads about the same thing.

i would sue the driver, but he didnt have a license, and according to the owner, the driver is nowhere to be found.

what to do now? my insurance company has called the other insurance company with no results. I only have liability insurance on the 240, so im not sure if that is a reason why my insurance company hasnt sued the other insurance company.

i might get a lawyer soon, but i was hoping to get some ideas on the forums before i go.

sorry for the crappy pic, its all i could get with my cell phone.

How did the driver not have a license? you should have filed a police report dude. and if they hit you then it doesnt matter if you have full coverage or not if the accident is found their fault then there insurance company has to pay. I would press charges against the owner of the car since they let someone else drive it.

Yeah, moment you saw something was up, you should've called the cops.

Always call the cops when you aren't at fault.

Unless you are at fault. Then talk your way out of it.

Hhah and you never caught the driver. haha sucky. I would take it up with the owner of the car then. Just go ahead and assume it was them if they want to play that game

Oh yeah, maybe i should have elaborated a little more on my car accident. I was bringing one of my friends to the airport and I stopped my car because there was a long line wait. I was waiting for my turn on the stop sign, and then the guy rear-ended me. At first he pulled to the side of me and i told him to stop on the side of the road. He didnt stop, but ran from me instead. I quickly told my friend to call the police, and I quickly pursued the car. I caught him at a red light, and told him that I had already called the police. Then he cooperated with me and decided to settle the matter at his work. The police showed up within 5 minutes and resolved most of the problems. He got a ticket for driving without a license, and I got a police report.

yep, that's how it went.

But with all this, I still don't know how his insurance company isnt willing to pay for the repairs of my car.

Call his insurance company. He/They DO fucking owe you money.
Alternately, sue both of them and buy a porsche

if you have liability YOUR insurance company probably doesn't care, i doubt they are even looking at your claim or if they are its in a file way in the back. Just try and sue him, you obviously have his info so if you file a suet he will be summend and if he is a no show then a warrent for his arrest. In the mean time buy another bumper or ziptie that one together and forget about it, it's not anything at all. end of story

It does not matter if you have liability or full coverage. The accident is obviously not your fault call your company and then call the other guys insurance company. If he doesnt have Insurance then you are Sol. You should get uninsured motorist coverage
