Although the upkeep is horrible, I'd still keep my car black.

yeah black does suck ass, not only do you have to deal with the tiniest scratches being visiable, but you also have to deal with water spots when you wash it, using a shammy once a week gets kinda old, and if you go threw the car was your car doesnt even come clean...it sucks...but i guess if you like black then you just have to deal with it

That red from the first Kouki S14 pic is sweet. Does anybody have a color code for that? I also really dig on the new REDLINE color on the new 350Z. My friend has it (he's still trying to figure out if anybody took delivery any earlier than he did for his Track model, he thinks it was the VERY first one delivered to Northern California, possibly North America) anyways, that color is fricking BEAUTIFUL in person. If you haven't seen it yet, just wait until you see it IRL. I don't always dig on red's, most cars don't really look right in red's, but that red is amazing.

Other colors I would go with would be, 1) the Dark Blue off of the new M3's, anybody know the color codes for these things? It is awesome, very dark, but very shiny, 2) Dark Forest Green, 3) Gun Metal Grey, 4) Black Pearl (off of the Skylines) 5) Super Black (it is on my car now and you just got to love the way this thing SHINES when it is clean).

one of two choices for me: **** brown (yes, I'm serious) or a dark, flattish grey. If I see any of those colors around, I will personally give it a nice long key because I know you stole my idea from here. ... got that?!

My Stepdad used to have an accord, I forgot the name of the color, but it was Graphite something. Really dark gray. I've been obsessed with that color since I got my 240. With the light and dark gray interior you get a sweet monochrome effect. Plus, looks pretty decent with carbon fiber

When you paint your car any of these exotic colors, are you paying out your ass to get them? Like is it cheaper to get white or black, rather than to get like kandy apple green. That color is wicked.

I did have my car painted this summer and I kept it a beautiful white. I waited 6 months to find the car I wanted (93 , hatchback, white, manual, low miles . . . man I was picky) White has always been my favorite color on a 240.

It depends on how hard it is to find and the availability. Some shops cost more for custom colors.

To repaint it the same color is usually like 1-2k. Changing the color would usually be from 3k-6k.

I concur. I wanted a white S14 to replace my black S13 HB! I love white or black, but white I think is as good, but easier to take care of. Plus, when you go out at night people can still see your car and you can still be a pimp haha

I ALMOST had one, and it was a good price... but someone bought it right before I was heading to TN, so I found another one there. I like the green alright, no complaints.. darker, but doesn't show dirt near like my S13 did.

I'd paint it bling bling Gold, then trick the interior with crushed purple velvet..Nah, I'd go with a nice metallic gunmetal color.

Well, I like my gunmetal paint because it is simple and looks mean in person but I Love ....dare I say it....championship white with a carbon fibre or a black hood. I really like both the Kandy appled colors though. I would like to repaint mine( in sig) a deep blue/purple with the CF hood and either bronze rims or black rims.

kiss my tail pipe you and that purple mobile cant catch me

ooh and I like silviachick's suggestion. the 1990 Lexus LS400 hade a color called black jade that was sweet looked dark emerald green in direct sun and black under any other circumstances. Moms had that color and I always liked it. not one of those retinaburning color changes but very subtle and oh so sweet. Phil should get some more purple and some black and try that out thatd be pretty cool..
