SR Hey, is there anyone.......

Is anyone online with yahoo right now that knows about SR20det's. My Screen name is [email protected]
If not here is my question, that I posted lastnight and it didn't stay, I just got my Head back on the engine from being resurfaced and everything all hooked back up. But it wouldn't start.
I checked the timing and it was good and I got good spark and decent compression. It still didn't want to start after that. My battery was week so I didn't get alot of cranks out of it, but it was strong while cranking. What could it be.
Oh and the injectors are working correctly same as with my fuel pump.
Thanks,
Jim

Does it kick over then die? Or does it just sit there and turn?

If you are indeed getting fuel, spark, and the motor is trying to crank over then it really sounds like you need to re-check your plugs: CAS, MAF, TPS, ETC.

I have pulled my motor and had head work done 3x and i sat here thinking about what it could be. How are you sure you are getting fuel and a spark? How did you check?

Right now it just cranks. No spudder but it has done this before. Not sure what was causing it then either but it just started to work. Well I know I'm getting fuel because 1: the fuel pump turns on and 2 the plugs are wet from fuel. The spark plug definately have spark. I'll let you know if I find anything tomorrow.

if SR's have a CAS, i'd check that connection... my Z used to do that. But like that guy up above said, just check your connections, something must not be plugged in right.
