![]() im in the process of installing my greddy oil pressure gauge and in not sure what i should wire up my gauge wiring to... i have black,white,red, and orange wires
black = ground white = light red = oil pressure read orange = ?? ?? what do i hook all those wires up to? |

well i'm not sure about your specific gauge, but going off of what VAs13 said:
red-constant 12v power (on all the time) orange-ignition (meaning only turns on when you turn your car on) white-lights (to a wire that's on the dimmer, so it the gauge dims with ur dash lights) |

yea, you want it wired in with your dash lighting (ie dimmer). The only other option is wire it to something that comes on with the car (ie ignition) and have the gauge light on all the time. I would just wire it in with your dash lighting. It isn't that hard

go in with a multimeter and turn your lights on and off and test where you get 12v with the lights on and thats where you tap into for your illumination (white wire).
