s14 headlights

guys really quick question :

to change the bulbs in a 95, do you have to remove whole headlight? you cant really get to back of it where bulbs are without removing, the fronts are sealed with some ****, so after removing the clips its still stuck in there.

thanks

no you don't have remove the whole headlight, although doing so would make your life a whole lot easier. there's barely enough space to get the bulbs out. i did it that way. but then i got tired of it and just took the other side completely off. either way, it's a piece of cake.

Uh oh, I hope you don't mean removing the front plastic cover portion of the headlight to replace the bulbs. That part should never come off!! The sticky stuff is a form of epoxy and shouldn't be tampered with. To remove the light assembly, remove you front grill, remove the two bolts on the inside (near the grill) and the other two nuts on the outside (revealed when you remove the side marker). Take some time and look closely over the front end to see where your bolts are connected and how. This will save you oodles of time in the long run, and it'll spare you the frustration of breaking anything that could cost you hundreds to replace (like a front headlight). If you need an exploded view of the entire front end, go to your local Nissan parts store and they will spit one out for you!!

Good Luck!
