Question about different sr20's

How you guys doing?
1. I searched already.
2. I looked over some of the past threads and couldn't really find a direct answer.

I'm gettin a 95+ 240 this summer, and will swap in an sr20. However, I don't know which motor to go with between the s14 and the s13 redtop. The s13 is cheaper, and I guess has better head flow or something, but the s14 blacktop has VVT. My question, can I just go the cheaper route and get the s13, without having to do anymore custom work than would have to be done with swapping in the s14 motor? I have researched the s14, but could save some cash by going with the s13. Are there any special things you need to do when installing the s13, that arn't encountered when installing the s14.

Sorry for the newb question, but its very important.

Thanks guys.
