God damn 240sx mirrors!!!
Second time this has happened to me!
I'm on the freeway, some little ugly CRX comes up and trys to screw w. me, so I school him and giv'em a 1-2 punch... I'm slowing down when all I hear is... 'CHHHSWOOP'... MY PASSENGER (last week it was my driver) mirror is gone... I need another one... anybody? I'll pick it up today if I can, I want JUST the mirror part but if I have to buy the whole assembly I guess I could do that. While you're at it, what's some good adhesive to keep these damn mirrors from flying off at top speed. |

 @ the responses in this Thread. Classic stuff.Get new mirrors. My passenger side mirror glass fell out going over a speed bump,  but I haven't had problems with my East Bear Aero Mirrors. Why? Because they are NEW!

yea my mirrors seem to be pretty solidly mounted on there. maybe you make too much powah

i think the only solution would be to turn down the boost. you're clearly approaching warp speed where all kinds of crazy shit starts happening
but seriously, buy exitspeed's mirrors and just use some decent epoxy or gorilla glue |

I had someone slam my passenger door to hard and it popped out of the socket. Haven't had a problem since I popped it back in.

no for real they sell all kinds of crazy glue shit there. now I hope you have some common sense and dont buy the 1 dollar miracle glue that cures all because its obviously bullshit, buy the good stuff.

Tell me about it I've had the same issue, but only with my passenger side.
I think its because it gets way to damn hot here in my neck of the woods so the adhesive goes to crap. first mirror I got had to get the whole assembly and that cost me $15 good deal and the second time it happened again was 2 weeks after I put the new assembly in. Then I scored on another one for free. |

Mine almost fell off
well, the whole thing. Bolts were backing out because my motor mounts make the chassis shake like shit. But the glass itself? Nope. Need to put in my Origin Glass. If those fall out, Imma be pissed.

dude WTF is going on my passenger mirror mystirously fell out of the side mirror frame yesterday too... while it sat outside parked all day. I didnt get the memo that it was mirror fall out day i guess. weird shit =0 (put mine back in with double sided tape and super glue, so far so good)

Just buy new ones from the dealer so they'll last you another ~17 years, I've lost my passanger side at 80mph, scared the shit outta me, my window was down and it hit the a pillar some glass broke off in the car, the glue gets old after a while.
