Bent Clutch Fork?
Hey, was wondering....... if the clutch fork is bent, do I have to drop the tranny to replace? Or will it come out of the bellhousing without removing the tranny?
Just bought a s13 hatch with redtop sr20det, and the only thing that was wrong with it, was the clutch. So troubleshooting everything, I put a new slave cylinder on, and it looks like the clutch fork is bent, to where pushing down on the clutch makes the cylinder on the slave cylinder come out. |

Transmission has to come out. Replace the T/O bearing while you're in there.

Alright, that sucks haha. So now, if I were to go to a junkyard, would a KA and/or an SR tranny clutch fork be fine?
And what kind've T/O bearing should I replace it with? Any specifics? And when say going to Autozone, what make/model of car am I asking for when it comes to this engine? (n00b questions I'm sure of, but this'll be my first 240sx) |
