Bent Clutch Fork?

Hey, was wondering....... if the clutch fork is bent, do I have to drop the tranny to replace? Or will it come out of the bellhousing without removing the tranny?

Just bought a s13 hatch with redtop sr20det, and the only thing that was wrong with it, was the clutch. So troubleshooting everything, I put a new slave cylinder on, and it looks like the clutch fork is bent, to where pushing down on the clutch makes the cylinder on the slave cylinder come out.

Transmission has to come out. Replace the T/O bearing while you're in there.

Alright, that sucks haha. So now, if I were to go to a junkyard, would a KA and/or an SR tranny clutch fork be fine?

And what kind've T/O bearing should I replace it with? Any specifics? And when say going to Autozone, what make/model of car am I asking for when it comes to this engine?
(n00b questions I'm sure of, but this'll be my first 240sx)

well I was comparing the position of the clutch fork, to my buddys KA 240, and it appears way to far out.
