I've already cleared this with xsparc and i'm willing to do any work that any one is i'm a certified electronic tech and have my degree in engineering if anyone is interested i'll be prototyping these in the SMD verison (Surface Mount Devices) much smaller and more compact also will garuantee that everything will be plug and play as well as in working order will just need to price out the parts and i will give an estimate as to how much it will cost

wow Awesome post. I know im a few years late but did quite of bit of research on this issue and this is the closest thing I found to the answer. If this does not work maybe you can point me in the right direction. So i have an 89 S13 chassis that has a S15 Silvia sr20det engine, S15 6 speed transmission, and S15 differential with S15 VSS. The ECU is also S15. So my understanding is the S15 VSS outputs a Sine wave format signal. Normally this is converted to a square wave signal from 0-10v by the ABC controller and the signal is sent to the ECU. The ECU converts this to a 0-5v signal for the Speedo. I do not have the ABS controller and wish to reuse the S13 digital dash with HUD. So will this circuit convert the sine wave to square wave and allow me to vary the output voltage to the ECU? Next question will the S13 Digital Dash read that format or am i better off just going vss to SGI5 to S13 speedo? Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers, Z16 |
