Question in the middle of sr swap

Hey im in the middle of swapping in a s13 redtop into my 97 and I have a few questions... Is the wiring for the harnesses the same for a zenki or kouki? I know its a bitch to get the ac to work so im not even gonna bother..also can i use my ka power steering pump for the sr? I was also thinking about wiring up my ac fan to work as the main cooling fan so that I wount have to use the clutch fan ( would this work?) I have a full clip so I can just use the jdm rad and shroud for the clutch fan if that wouldnt work..I compression tested the motor and got 150 145 145 145 you think this is decent? I dont know the specs of what it should be..Plus Im ordering a spec stage 2 so is a light flywheel worth getting or just resurface the old one..I dont think its neccessary to replace the clutch fork is it?
My clip arrived in bad shape: the motor looks like ****, turbo has a puddle of oil in the inlet, bov is missing..I pulled the engine and found the harness allready has some splices in it It looks like this was a ca18 car before or something..well this sucks I just wanna get this done quick so I can see if it even runs

sorry about so many questions..dont order from raceup!!!!

compression for a cold clean motor sounds good and consistant. i would say the 97 ac fan is a monster and have used them several times as cooling fans, work as well as faals ive had.

the wiring is different, so youll need to get out some wiring diagrams and cross over the right wires near the battery area and under the dash. I belive the ka power steering had a switch on it so make sure its plugged in. also the ka pwr steering pump will need a customized or machined bracket to work. If i were you i would use the sr pwr steering pump also dont forget the ka pulley is different than the sr pwr steering pulley..

i think thats my 2 cents for now kind of busey illcheck back

hey thanks..I found someone that will rewire the harness for me for 200 bux, I guess thats not bad (it looks more complicated than i thought)..I noticed the pulleys were different but the pump itself looked the same ,,ill just use the sr one then..now i just gotta wait for the harness to come back and the clutch to come in and see if this chit actually runs..my clip looked like it has over 200k miles:hammer:
