Where I've been? I've been here, i've posted in here several times. Like I said before, no need to get flustered about me saying something but thank you for thinking my car is neat.
In a perfect world, all cars would be slammed with awesome wheels. That's a world I wana live in. Let's see some more slammed dailies please! |

I don't have the car anymore, i guess you'll have to take my word for it when i say my tension rod brackets and frame rails were less than an inch off the ground. the oil pan rested on the ground before i raised the engine. or not, but whatever. if you must compare, compare the wheel to fender gap.
Now i'm not claiming i have or had the lowest anything. but i know for a fact that you don't. To be frank your car is not low. its at a decent height and looks good. but if one thing stands out about the car its not the lack of ground clearance. |

Ayuaddict, yes your car was lower than his. Although i don't see how anybody can say that his car isn't low. If his car isnt low then what is?

The guy a couple pages ago asking why we can't section the frame rails... good point. I wonder why we can't? Since mine need to be replaced anyways, this is very intriguing.
Anyways, I love this thread and I miss my old daily, and I haven't posted it in here yet. ![]() I had to raise it ~5-8mm in the front to be able to turn the wheels at all. I need 175s on those wheels (7") rather than 195. The rear was rubbing the inner wheel well, hence the rake. Such a pain to try and get this car low, I'm looking forward to trying it with my 240SX this summer.

I stand by my statement, however i probably should have said "by today's standards". as i explained to him, it was probably his statement that it was "the lowest S13 on 17s to date" that got my attention.

My current DD
![]() I had to DD my "track car" for a couple months and it was horrible, I ran over the front lip twice and couldn't drive it around OKC for the most part. Had to take my girlfriends car everywhere. ![]()

LOL i have ran over my lip so many times! Usually its when i was in a hurry backing out of my driveway. Then i would go foward and feel the bump. Its kinda embarrasing. I live on a pretty busy street, I would have to hit the hazards and go nab it before someone else hit it.

the overs were put on there cuz its gonna be a grip/drift car, i couldn't fit a 275/35 on there without issues of it rubbing the fender, couldn't pull/roll it enough either. I only slammed it like this for fun and to say i did it, it looks a lot better in person than that of the pictures. |

Ahh i knew someone would just have to make a statement like that. Did i say my car isnt lowered? No. Did i say i dont scrape on those roads? No. I did comment about that individual car though because the frame is about 1/1/2 inches off the ground. Our construction/road transitions are higher than that. It just made me think about how bad that car would get owned. You cant do anything on a 3 lane highway to avoid a nasty higher road transition. Its a oil pan, frame owning diaster for a car that low. Yes i hate that same statement when applied to someone that is ridiculously high and uses it to makes negative statements on low cars as well, but this isnt that case.
