i was reading entertainment weekly when i got out of class the other day.  there was a little article about the kid from malcolm in the middle... franky muniz (spelling?)  anyway.... it said that he just turned 16 and bought the white jetta from the fast and the furious for $100,000!!!!  ONE HUNDRED FREAKING THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!

I'd use the $100k to finance a 911 Turbo. Then for another <$1k you can add 50 hp by putting in the TechArt Chip. Then I could race the dude with the Modena off this list. Goddamn movie stars.

Whats funny is..for that much dinero...he could have bought a jetta...and made it faster and nicer looking.  (Assuming he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty.)  
You all know he's paying for the decals the F&F team used.  
BTW, check EBAY...theres a supra for sale - $90k    Its a 7 second car if i remember correctly.

$100,000 for that jetta i wouldnt pay $10,000 for it. For that much money you can have several 240s maybe a couple of 300zx's drive a differant one each day of the week.

Anyways, thats one of the best, if not the best, 240SX in that states...actually, it is the best.

Really, though, the more important thing is if we see Frankie Muniz on the streets with his F&F car, we'll still probably toast him.

100,000? I would pick up a 426 hemi cuda (71 or 72) and then replace the leaf suspension with coil overs.... I would make that baby stick to the track... wouldn't you love to see a car that was on the track that still needed wheelie bars "just in case" oh, and for that much I could drop a quad turbo on, and run my 13:1 compression and have around 2000 hp... THAT would be fun. Probably the most insane car in the world. I want that.

And give the car a little credit, that car was a vr6, those are great engines, and stock, they will hand a modded 240 it's ass... 180hp with 226lb/ft, and damned if they don't sound great too... granted, his was a waste of money, but there is a turbo vr6 in a 85 rabbit in montreal that is one of the most insane vehicles I have ever seen.
