![]() ok, let me preface this with the fact that i had an aftermarket security system in my car and accidentally cut the RED wire that goes to the sunroof.... now that the security system is out i have no idea where this red wire goes to.. i traced it all the way to the switch and read the fsm diagram but cannot make sense of where it is supposed to goto.... it runs down my A-pillar and then down to around where the cabin fuses are....after tha, i cannot figure it out...anyone know where this wire is supposed to go to?

Is your sunroof a NISSAN OEM sunroof or an AFTERMARKET sunroof installed by the dealer when the car was sold. If it is an Aftermarket sunroof, then it's possible that red wire could just be the Power (+) wire that activates the motor. Nissan OEM sunroofs have the wiring harness in some sort of loom & never seperate like you have in the picture. If it is indeed an aftermarket sunroof, any FUSED dedicated 12 volt power line could power the sunroof...all you have to do is tap into a 12 volt line. Some people go direct to the battery, some the fuse block inside the engine compartment, while others take power off the driver side fuse block. Choice is up to you.
Anyhow, hope this helps....Good luck!! ID

That is aftermarket. The OE sunroof power wire is white/black and runs down the passenger side Apillar. There is no wiring on the driverside Apillar besides the tweeter and the antenna cable.
