im assuming he's just sick of random people popping in to ask the ever present 'who sells the s15 front end conversion for s13/s14???' and no, its not worth doing unless you're one of those people willing to shell out a few thousand just for a cosmetic 'upgrade.' try using the search function to find all your s15 front end conversion questions.

Man, What ever happened to a forum that actually HELPS with questions?

Everytime someone asks a question, people jump right down their throats. What did ever happen to "to each his own" ?

gregsr20: Check out www.speedalliance.com and speak to Chris, he's a buddy of mine, Tell him powashiftin sent you. I got my S15 conversion through there and a number of things. Great guy to work with. Good Luck!

I dont think its worth doing unless you have an absolutely MINT S13. Otherwise I would only do the S15 on a really nice 95-96 SE.

well i guess I am a fucking idiot, I guess I leave my car in stock form, I was just thinking of enhancing it's appearance, Because lets be honest the s13 is not an eye catcher. At least i am not putting a prelude front end on it or something. And i guess all those guys who have done the s13 "silvia" (woo hoo) conversions are fukking morons as well, posers, like you said, If you don't know the answer to the question, then shut the fuck up and don't answer, forums in tech talk are meant to help not ridicule you fucking prick

S15 conversion looks good on the fastback with the right bodykit/bumper...but I'd rather invest that money into some boost. Honestly the flip ups with a nice bumper look soooo nice on a s13 fastback...if anything its the spoiler and taillights that are ugly...

I wouldn't normally reply to this, but you're getting flamed up pretty bad. Looks like you've already been pointed in the right direction but maybe this will help.

If I recall correctly, most of the parts for the S13 > S15 converison can be used directly off a S15 (hood/headlights/bumper). However, you're going to either have to make a hybrid fender from your current S13 fender and the S15 which can be impractical these days because of the plentiful avaliblity of the FRP coversion fenders. A year or 2 back, everyone went crazy over getting this conversion, in my opinion it's dying down but the parts are still out there just the same.

Masa makes conversion fenders, also "Yokohama West" makes some, and probably a bunch of different companies in the states as well. I have heard nothing but bad things about GTP import fan fenders. You can also check out Autoimaging.com, I think VIS makes some too, but I don't really care for VIS.

Personally, The S15 conversion is mostly just for show. If you're planning on drifting, you might want to forget about it unless you have a lot of money to spend on replacing smashed S15 parts. People are gonna talk a lot of crap about you posing at what not, maybe you are but I'm gonna give you the benifit of the doubt.

I believe the full conversion comes out to about 2500-3000 dollars. Use the search option, seriously. There are probably hundreds of threads about this conversion and a number of people around this forum that have done it. The information is just a click away, and you wont have to be called a poser that way.

Good Luck to you.

No doubt man.

I spent $3K on the front end/side skirts and rear bumper. I got a good deal on it. I actually got the side skirts used off of Chris , one of the owners of speed alliance's Car. They were in MINT condition, actually i just finished priming them up! muwahaha

In any event. The S15 front is tight on an S13 with the right body parts on it. I personally have a Vertex S15 Front and Nismo "copy" sides and rear, and a VIS S15 Carbon fiber hood. All the front end parts and body parts fit PERFECTLY. And in my opinion they are well balanced. My car doesnt look like its gonna bite you. You know what I mean?

Well, good luck with your decision. I'm doing my car up in stages, first appearance and braking, then suspension, then engine. I didnt wanna have a fast car with tho braking power or suspension or appearance.. whatev good luck brody

If I went with the S15 front end, I would be paranoid of some hater smashing my pair of $700 headlights. At least with the S13 silvia face the lights are $75-$200 a pair on ebay used....whereas S15 headlights are usually new and $600-$700 (from what I've seen....and yes there are people who can get them for less probably).

From what I've seen, you definately need to juice up everything else on your S13 to pull off the S15 face. I would definately go with 17inch wheels....and sideskirts are a must unless you want to look very awkward.

I also would be worried of my conversion fenders getting pelted with debris from the road. I doubt you can buy replacement fiberglass fenders individually unlike used S13 silvia fenders (ebay and other importers have random singles sometimes).

For the price of the conversion ($2,500), I could buy a used S13 AND still have money to swap an S13 silvia face on there (I see them go for $650 on ebay....company called "Jarco" near Atlanta).

Its your money, but consider you will be paying for a repaint also...so thats even more cash.
