any single overhead drivers here that can give me advise bout wat to do to my engine to make it a lil quicker? i ran it at california speedway just for fun..and the best i got was 16.8...no lsd, engine dead stock. any tips? not into drag, but would like a lil more pick up.

What type of transmission? For a 5spd, you can work on your driving for the biggest improvement :P 16.8 doesn't seem too terrible for a SOHC. . . You can look into basic things like air intake, header, and exhaust, but for any tremendous gains you are looking at digging into the head for a port and polish. . . What was the date your car was built?

Search for posts by Bill Roberts, or just search for 2.55 liter KA. There are two guys on here that have made thier SOHCs a lot faster with no turbo.
