i really like the way the latest model 240sx se looks.  but i see there horse power and it doesnt seem to impressive for a car barely under 3000lbs.  right now i am driving a 1999 civic si(which has more hp and is lighter than the 240) but its my brothers, and i need a car of my own.  what can i do to make this car FAST but still carb legal(no swaps)  is there a carb legal turbo that can be added?  and how much will intake exhaust and hedders add to the 240sx?

Just buy parts that are Carb exempt. Most big names in america make carb exempt parts. AEM etc.

Technically a swap out of USDM Z Twin Turbo would be carb legal, though the Z would have to be newer than the 240sx, so that would cut out the newest style 240sx.

Realistically though, there's not a lot you can do until they come out with a CARB legal turbo which hopefully they will later this year.
